Terms and conditions of sale
The reservation becomes effective when the client receives written confirmation delivered by the agency. A reservation is required for each service. Spaces are limited, it is recommended that you make your reservation as soon as possible with GOLD BEACH COMPANY.
START/RETURN
2 starting possibilities: 1pm (½ day) or 8:30am (All day). Our departures are made from ‘Place du Quebec’ in Bayeux or from your hotel in Bayeux or then Bayeux train station. Our agency is located in Bayeux. We can also pick you up in surrounding areas of Bayeux (10km maximum). The schedules will be rigorously adhered to down to the minutes of the hour of departure. It is advised to be present 10 minutes before departure in the pickup location. If before departure, something comes up and you cannot go on your tour, you must inform the agency as soon as possible, before departure. Throughout the day, in order for the tour to stay on time, you must respect the timetables indicated by the tour guide. With regards to the return, the hours indicated on the program are based on normal circulating conditions. We do not take any responsibility for possible delays.
COST
The price agreed upon is fixed. This includes the services made during reservation and mentioned on your confirmation of reservation. The fixed price in the contract cannot be raised during the tour.
Our prices do not include meal expenses and other expenditures (such as souvenirs, visiting of museums not included in the tour, etc.)
PAYMENT
For guarantee, in the reservation we ask for a full payment. You can pay directly on our Website. Otherwise, payment of your tour will be done the same day. In cash, credit card to the tour guide.
RESPONSABILITIES
The GOLD BEACH COMPANY agency is responsible for the good execution of the contract in accordance with the client’s expectations. The agency is responsible for the acts of its guides, while performing their duties.
GOLD BEACH COMPANY recommends to every client to keep a close eye on their personal belongings during their tours.
GOLD BEACH COMPANY reserves the right to cancel or to modify the tour in the event that the tour guide feels it is necessary for the comfort, well-being and safety of the clients.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Normandy, bordered by the coasts of the English Channel, generally has cold winds and rainy weather. We recommend you plan for this type of weather with raincoats and warm clothes in winter. A cap or hat might be useful for you. Practical shoes are necessary, such as tennis shoes, or footwear with flat and comfortable heels.
Cancellation policy
There will be a full refund if you cancel at least 15 days prior to the first day of the tour.
We will just keep 3,5% of the total amount for the cancellation management fees.
But, if you cancel :
between 8 and 14 days before the first day of the tour, we will refund 75% of the total invoice.
between 3 and 7 days before the first day of the tour, we will refund 50% of the total invoice.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your tour no refund will be given.
